Edgbaston House, Birmingham

I recently celebrated my wedding anniversary at this hotel, and we opted for a superior room. The decor and cleanliness were impressive, creating a classy yet welcoming vibe. However, the only downside was the lack of saver points in the bathrooms which meant we had to bring our own plug adaptor. Overall, I enjoyed our stay except for that small inconvenience.

I had a delightful experience at this boutique hotel, especially when indulging in their afternoon tea which was simply exquisite. The overall atmosphere was charming, and while the food was a standout, I did encounter some minor service hiccups that slightly dulled the experience. Overall, it's a gem worth revisiting, particularly for the excellent afternoon tea offerings.

I had high expectations for The Edgbaston after hearing about its stylish vibe and renowned afternoon tea, but my experience was quite mixed. On the plus side, the atmosphere of the hotel is beautiful, and the cocktail lounge offers a lovely space to unwind. Unfortunately, the dining experience for afternoon tea didn't quite match the standards I hoped for, particularly with the wait time and the quality of service. For a luxury hotel, these aspects could use a significant improvement.
